WWF - world wildlife advert

This is an advert for WWF, World Wildlife Protection Agency, a kind of greenpeace for the forrest and land. It's aim is to stop landclearing and degradation to protect the animal & plants.
The advert was created by Saatchi & Saatchi NZ.
A very clever subtle way of showing suburbia encroaching into the forrests...like a bug eating into a leaf, leaving mold, destruction, chaos and dead areas to the plant.
It's an organic, monochromatic look with 'suburbia' only taking up small less than a third section of the leaf. Looks even a bit like a Fibronacci division. No type but a powerful message and quite dominating. Love it.

Lego can build anything

An advert by the legendary Graphic Design firm Saatchi & Saatchi (this one from the Singapore firm). The function of this advert is to show than Lego can build anything, even architectural pieces! The style is simple, monochromatic and pure thirds, the perfect design layout. The doors are in thirds, the windows are in thirds, total grid! No slogan just the lego logo down the bottom! My attraction to it was the simplicity, architectural feature plus LEGO is the best invention..after the printing press of course!!!

This amazing advert for childprotection reflects the behaviour of adults in the shiny surface of the childshead, showing how much a child takes on through behaviour of its parents. The ad was created by the Australian  Graphic Design firm DDB.
